Celebrating Our New CrossFit Gym in Mesa, Arizona
A bigger gym deserved a BIG celebration.
To celebrate the opening of our new, larger CrossFit Incite facility in Mesa, Arizona, we invited the entire CrossFit community to join us for a completely free Grand Reopening Lift Off.
Athletes from CrossFit gyms throughout the Valley came together to lift heavy, chase PRs, meet new people, support one another, and help us celebrate the beginning of the next chapter of CrossFit Incite.
We had local vendors, friends and families filling the gym, some huge lifts, and incredible energy from beginning to end.
And the best part?
You didn't have to be a CrossFit Incite member to participate.
This event was open to everyone.
CrossFit Athletes From Across the Valley
One of our favorite things about CrossFit has always been that you can compete with someone one minute and be the loudest person cheering for them the next. That's exactly what happened at the CrossFit Incite Grand Reopening Lift Off.
Athletes from CrossFit gyms throughout Mesa, Queen Creek, Gilbert, Phoenix, and the surrounding East Valley came together under one roof. Different gyms. Different experience levels. Different strength levels. None of that mattered.
When someone stepped up to the bar, the room got behind them. We had experienced CrossFit athletes moving some serious weight alongside everyday members testing themselves, hitting personal records, and accomplishing something they hadn't done before.
Every lift mattered. Every PR got celebrated. That's CrossFit.
More Than a CrossFit Competition
The Lift Off wasn't about finding out who belonged in the gym. Everyone belonged.
CrossFit has never been about needing to be the strongest, fastest, or fittest person in the room. It's about becoming better than you were yesterday and surrounding yourself with people who want to see you succeed. That's the type of community we've worked to build at CrossFit Incite since 2012.
Our Grand Reopening gave us the opportunity to share that community with athletes and families from all over the Valley. Local vendors joined us throughout the event. Friends and family packed the gym. The crowd stayed loud from the first lift to the last.
For one day, it didn't matter what gym you belonged to or what logo was on your shirt.
We were one CrossFit community.
