Casey has worked in the fitness industry since 2005 in various capacities. She first received her Bachelors Degree in Exercise and Wellness from Arizona State University, As her undergraduate internship she worked as a Strength and Conditioning intern coach under the doctorate students. She was a part of developing and implementing both strength and conditioning programs for both in season and out of season college athletes. Also as a part of the internship, she helped to train and prepare the Mesa Community College Fire Science students, physically preparing them for the real-life work following the academy. This included weight room strength training as well as functional training at the burn house. From there, she became certified as a Personal Trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Early on she worked with clients on an individual basis, delivering one on one training, custom to the individual goals of her clients. A majority of the population she trained were clients battling metabolic diseases or conditions, looking to improve overall health in order improve longevity and quality of life. Casey followed her passion of becoming an Occupational Therapist, graduating in 2011 From A.T. Still University, with her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy. She has worked in many settings with her specialty being in neurological and pediatric rehab. Casey fell in love CrossFit in 2015 after the birth of her first child. She has always played team sports competitively, playing soccer in college, she longed to find a healthy competition again. 5 months into CrossFit she competed in her first competition and has completed in dozens since then. She was hooked immediately to the community and camaraderie of the Incite team. Combining her two passions of CrossFit and pediatric rehab, Incite Kids Fitness was born! She has been leading and coaching CrossFit kids class since 2020. She still has a passion to help individuals reach their fitness goals and coach athletes, you will see her coaching in the CrossFit classes on weekends and occasional weekdays! Her favorite movement is any SQUAT variation! If she hasn't told you yet, she is the biggest Green Bay Packers fan on the planet!
