I began my CrossFit journey as the first client of Incite back in 2012.  It all started in a basement where I grew to love the atmosphere, community, and challenge that CrossFit provided.  It took many Global Gym contracts (that I never went to by-the-way) to finally find a program that pushed me to my full potential and accomplish fitness goals that I couldn’t otherwise have done.  I have a supportive wife and two beautiful little girls that let me do what I love to do, and that is to help people have a healthier life.  I look forward to having you be apart of our family here at CrossFit Incite.





Justin Ashton

Three years ago I walked into Crossfit Incite having no idea what to expect. I woke up the next morning so sore I could barely walk, but I went back because I promised myself I’d give it at least a week.  It only took me a week to realize that I wanted Crossfit to be an ongoing part of my life. Incite has always been such a great community to be a part of. I have met so many friends through Crossfit and love sweating and working hard next to them. My wife Jamie also joined Incite shortly after I did and she has been hooked ever since. We have been married twelve years and have three little girls who, through us, have come to see how fitness is an important part of life. When I’m not at Incite I am a full time firefighter for the Town of Gilbert. I have been a firefighter for over ten years and have seen how Crossfit has benefited me for my line of work. I am now part owner of Crossfit Incite and want to continue to make it one of the best Crossfit communities in the East Valley.  For me that’s what Crossfit is truly about…community.



Becky Jones

Let me just start off by saying…I love CrossFit! I am a native Arizonan, I have lived here for over 30 years. I grew up loving and playing all kinds of sports. I played volleyball in highschool and took weightraining, where I was first introduced to Olympic Lifting. After highschool I met and married my husband Stan (who CrossFits with me) and we have four cute kids. I have enjoyed teaching group fitness classes in my community and church groups for the past 6 years. I heard about CrossFit in 2005 and without ever participating, KNEW I would love it. I finally got the opportunity to start CrossFitting in May 2012 and it was like I’d come home. I have always dreamed of being a trainer and coach and I am so excited to be able to help others improve their lives and get stronger, faster, and more fit all through CrossFit.




Erin Finch

I grew up in a small town in northern Arizona. I loved growing up there and it gave me the opportunity to be involved and love to play all sports since I was very young. In high school I played Basketball, volleyball, track and field and was MVP my senior year. I graduated in 1996 from high school and was an assistant coach for the high school track and field team and was also a water safety instructor and life guard, taught swim lessons and helped coach the local swim team. I guess that is where I found my love to teach and coach. I married my husband Jared in 1999 and we have 4 amazing and cute kids. In 2011 I had surgery on my ankle and while on the mend I saw the CrossFit games on TV, I was amazed. I made it my goal that I would do CrossFit as soon as I healed. I started my CrossFit journey in 2012 and I was hooked. I love coaching CrossFit. It is one of the things that I look forward to everyday. I love that it gives me the opportunity to help people on a path to a better life through fitness. CrossFit has been a blessing to me as it has also made me step out of my boundaries and comfort zone and has helped me grow in many other areas other than fitness.



McDavid Dobson

McDavid is a co-owner of Maximum Defense. He is a Personal Defense Readiness Coach, he provides reality based self defense classes for all ages. McDavid has years of experience in personal defense as well as backgrounds in boxing, grappling, and Israeli and American Personal Training. He will not only make sure that you are ready for any physical altercations that may arise from defending yourself, but he will also insure that you are emotionally and psychologically prepared as well. There are many ramifications if defensive training is not properly used. Students will have to understand that there is a moral, ethical, and sometimes legal obligation that will have to be considered at the onset of every confrontation.



Cory Gerard

Coach Cory began Crossfit in 2006 as a way to enhance his fitness level for the rigors encountered each day as a firefighter. Since then he has developed a passion for CrossFit and fitness has become a regular part of his life. Cory has completed 6 marathons, 2 half marathons, several other shorter distance races, and has a background in competitive athletics, including football and track. Cory has a passion for motivating others and finds inspiration in the development and improvement of people, whatever their endeavors are. In addition to coaching CrossFit, Cory is a firefighter here in the valley, teaches at a local community college, and coaches with the San Tan Youth Football League and Desert Ridge Little League. Cory believes the greatest aspect of CrossFit is the community of support that pushes you each day to overcome physical and psychological barriers that are so difficult to take on by yourself. Cory is married with three children and loves to golf, swim, run, and hangout with the Family is his spare time.



Britt Burns

I am an Arizona native, born and raised in Chandler. I grew up playing multiple sports throughout my childhood and into high school where I played football and wrestled. I went to the University of Arizona and graduated with a BS in Exercise Science. I have been married to my best friend and love of my life, Brooke, for over 18 years. We have four beautiful kids (Aynsleigh, Grady, Kenzy, and Tamryn) who keep us laughing and busy.
I was first introduced to Crossfit through friends at work as a firefighter. I was initially interested as a way to get in a great workout quickly, but then became hooked after doing a few workouts. I had no idea the positive impact it would have on my life! I have done crossfit workouts in multiple settings: with close friends in a small group, large group of strangers, and alone in my garage. Nothing beats the atmosphere like a group of friends trying to better themselves. I love being involved with people who have the courage to pour their hearts into something they enjoy and believe in. That’s what Crossfit is about and what Crossfit Incite specializes in- being better today then we were yesterday. Let’s do this!





Bailey Gift

An active lifestyle has always been important to me. I play a variety of sports and enjoy the outdoors. I would go to the “normal” gym 5-6 times a week and create my own workouts. After years of using all the machines, free weights, and the dreaded treadmill, I decided I needed something more! I started CrossFit in September of 2014, and instantly fell in love. The types of workouts I saw in CrossFit pushed me to limits I didn’t even know I had, and that’s exactly what I wanted. It made me a better person and allowed me to have a way to measure myself and see my progress. The CrossFit community is amazing! People are constantly cheering you on to do your best and helping you through hard workouts. I love that! It’s such an uplifting atmosphere. After my first week of doing CrossFit, I knew it was something I wanted to be a part of for the rest of my life. I decided to coach and coaching has brought my love for CrossFit to a whole new level. I love sharing this with people and helping them become more active so they can fully enjoy life!
