The BodPod will be here this Tuesday for re testing. Please sign up at www.arizonabodpod.com for your spot. We are starting a 3 month nutrition challenge on September 16th and these numbers will be very beneficial to have! The week of the 16th we will be doing some benchmark and test WODs to use for this challenge. Our main goal with this challenge will be performance gains and overall health not weight lose (even though that will be a side affect to the challenge). The number on the scale will not be our main focus. More details to come this week but everyone in the Box should participate because remember:

Hey guys some of you may have heard me announce this today but I am very excited to have Molly Metz from JumpNRope come and do a double under seminar for us! I met Molly at the CrossFit Kids Certification last month and she is amazing at what she does! If you want to get better at Double Unders and improve your WOD times hurry and sign up! I am excited to announce that we will be kicking off our use of Wodify, a simple and easy to use athlete performance tracking application designed specifically for our box. We have been looking for a solution that will make performance tracking easier and help athletes take ownership of their performance. Lets give this performance tracking everything we have.
Logging results will not be optional. When you arrive to class walk over to the wodify kiosk and sign in to class or log-in prior to class via your mobile phone. Upon completion of your workout walk over to the kiosk and quickly report your results. This performance history will stay with you and will make it easy to know your 1-rep max and gauge the weights you should be lifting and hopefully motivate you to work harder and strive to do the workout as prescribed.
You should have received an email with your log-in credentials by now. Log in and make sure your gender, program and contact information is correct. Update any performance history you may have in your journal. Check out Wodify’s YouTube channel or knowledgebase for helpful How-To documents on setting up your account and downloading the app on your phone.
A couple of quick announcements;
-We are now offering childcare at the 8:15AM, 9:15AM, 4:15PM, 5:15PM and 6:15PM classes Monday-Friday.
-There will only be one class on the 4Th at 9AM. We will be doing a hero WOD so please come out and honor a hero who sacrificed everything for our freedom!
-Friday the 5th we will have a class at 8:15AM and 5:15PM all other classes that day will be canceled because of the holiday. Saturday we will still have the 8AM class as well.
-July 9th the BodPod is coming back out. If you would like to schedule another appointment please go to www.arizonabodpod.com and book your time slot! We will keep the gym open that day for regular class times.
Strength, determination, motivation, confidence… these are just some of the words that come to mind when I think about what CrossFit Incite has done for me. I am 33 years old and a mother of 4. I had been running, going to the gym and playing volleyball, but something was missing. I wanted better results from my workouts, but I didn’t know how. I began attending classes at CrossFit Incite in May of 2012. The thing I noticed most about the workout of the day was the intensity. Going all out made a huge difference in my workouts. The workouts are tough! Just getting through one was challenging not just physically but mentally as well. More intensity = Better results and bigger rewards. Since starting at CrossFit Incite, I have lost 15 pounds and over 16 inches. I cleaned up my eating habits by following the Paleo diet. When I started at CrossFit Incite I was using a band to help me do pullups. In the past 8 months I’ve gone from using heavy bands to lighter and lighter bands and now I am able to do unassisted pullups. No bands! My mile time has improved by a minute and a half. I can now back squat 195 pounds, deadlift 245 pounds and shoulder press 95 pounds. I feel strong and confident!
Another amazing part of CrossFit Incite is the camaraderie. We cheer each other on, help each other improve skills and work hard together. We are CrossFit family!
Starting CrossFit was one of the best things that I have ever done for myself. Seeing all these results keeps me motivated and coming back for more. CrossFit is not just an exercise program it’s a way of life!
