Head Coach (Level 2 Trainer)
I have a Love/Hate relationship with CrossFit. I love the fitness benefits it brings. I love getting stronger. I love gaining new skills. I love being able to accomplish something I previously could not. As a coach, I think I get more excited when I can help an athlete accomplish a new skill. The excitement that comes from seeing a first rope climb or hand stand push up is amazing. Even more so, the excitement that comes from improved health is indescribable. Athletes no longer needing high blood pressure medication, lowering bad cholesterol scores, beating type II diabetes through diet & exercise…. These are the most worthwhile & life-long goals that make me happiest as a coach.
As I mentioned, I have a love/hate relationship with crossfit… The Hate? I hate that there isn’t enough time in the day. I hate that I don’t get to see the athletes as often as I’d like. Sometimes, one hour a day is just not enough.
